Blogging for business is often confused with many other approaches to writing - press releases, case studies, brochures, etc., but blogging for business is quite different.

You don't have to spend countless hours researching a topic.  The fact is, you already know all you need to know to start and maintain a blog in minutes.

If you read a business newspaper or trade magazine, take 15 minutes to blog about what you read.  Did you go to a conference, have a great client meeting, or have a great idea?  Blog about it.

Once you get into the habit of expressing your thinking in written form, you'll find that blogging will come very naturally.  15 minutes or less is all it should take.  Share your expertise.  Form an opinion.  Take a stance.  Give some advice.  Start blogging your way to more business.  (And watch what happens to your search engine optimization results!)
